The (ex DB) WRS 193 302 (91 80 6193 302-7 D-WRSCH) is standing in Lausanne with a long train of tank cars before continuing its journey. According to the markings, the locomotive is approved for operation in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands, and Belgium, although the voltage ratings listed in practically the same location are unclear to me: 3000 V, 1500 V, 1500 V 50 Hz, and 1000 V 16.7 Hz. Unfortunately, the locomotive and its train were positioned very awkwardly for photography, mainly due to the length of the train. De (ex DB) WRS 193 302 (91 80 6193 302-7 D-WRSCH) staat in Lausanne met een lange trein van tankwagens voordat hij zijn reis voortzet. Volgens de markeringen is de locomotief goedgekeurd voor gebruik in Duitsland, Oostenrijk, Zwitserland, Italië, Nederland en België, hoewel de spanningswaarden die op vrijwel dezelfde plaats worden vermeld mij onduidelijk zijn: 3000 V, 1500 V, 1500 V 50 Hz en 1000 V 16,7 Hz. Helaas waren de locomotief en zijn trein erg onhandig gepositioneerd voor fotografie, voornamelijk vanwege de lengte van de trein. Widmer Rail Servicenb 430 115 hauls one of the many kerosene trains through Pratteln on 13 February 2024. Because Pratteln lies on three major freight arteries and is sited nog that far from Zürich Airport, plus the fact that Switzerland does not have many fossile fuels, many a kerosene train can be seen at Pratteln Thursdays to Saturday mornings.
Widmer Rail Servicenb 430 115 trekt op 13 februari 2024 een van de vele kerosinetreinen door Pratteln. Omdat Pratteln aan drie belangrijke goederenspoorlijnen ligt en niet ver van de luchthaven Zürich is gelegen, en omdat Zwitserland niet veel fossiele brandstoffen heeft, zijn er vaak kerosinetreinen te zien in Pratteln van donderdag tot zaterdagochtend.

A few hundred yards west from the railway station of Pratteln lies a well-known vantage point where nice pictures of freight trains can be made. This spot is about the only spot in Switzerland, where from public area decent photo's can be made of freights to/from both the Gotthard and Lötschberg railway lines -and of many an internal freight. One of the many freights at Pratteln on 13 February 2024 was hauled by Widmer Rail Service 475 902.
Een paar honderd meter ten westen van het treinstation van Pratteln ligt een bekende uitkijkplek waar mooie foto's van goederentreinen gemaakt kunnen worden. Deze plek is ongeveer de enige plek in Zwitserland waar vanaf een openbare locatie degelijke foto's gemaakt kunnen worden van goederentreinen van/naar zowel de Gotthard- als de Lötschberg-spoorlijnen - en van vele interne goederentreinen. Een van de vele goederentreinen in Pratteln op 13 februari 2024 werd getrokken door Widmer Rail Service 475 902.
