CMI 512 was temporarily in use with CFL after the projected shunter Class MJ Diesel shunters for Denmark's DSB fell through the ice -quite literaly, because these Cockeril-build shunters did not prove themselves very well in cold conditions and an order of 30 locos was cancelled, leaving Cockerill with the sixteen already build shunters. CFL rented a few of them for a few years and one of them, CFL/CMI 512 is seen stabled at Bettembourg on 20 May 2004.

EBT 576 201 pushes an extra train out of Burgdorf to Konolfingen on 17 May 2025 during the train bonanza "150 Years Emmentalbahn", that, thanks to nice old stock, a region wide operation, the best of weather and beautiful landscape turned out to be a resounding succes.
