On a grey 29 May 2004 ÖGEG still had to lok for a decent base (that would become Ampflwang) and celebrated their 40th anniversary at Salzburg-Itzling, where 657.2770 with extra train gets prepared for the job.

On 30 May 2004 ÖGEG's 657.2770 runs light at Salzburg-Itzling. THis loco was rescued from Romania and subsequently restored in BBÖ condition, albeit with DRG colours.
