Die Galerie präsentiert Fotografien von Museumszügen und historischen Fahrzeugen der Blonay-Chamby-Bahn (BC) in der Schweiz. Die Motive zeigen verschiedene Dampf- und Elektrotriebfahrzeuge, darunter die RhB G 3/4 in Chamby, die DB 99 193, die ex RhB G 3/3 Nr. 1 sowie die RhB ABe 4/4 Nr. 35. Zu sehen sind auch ältere Fahrzeuge wie der MC BCFeh 4/4 Nr. 15, der OJB Zug, der B.F.D. Nr. 3 und der ABFe 2/4 Nr. 10 (LLB). Die Fotos dokumentieren den Einsatz dieser Züge auf der Strecke zwischen Blonay, Chamby, Cornaux, Vevey und Chaulin. Gezeigt werden unterschiedliche Situationen: Züge bei der Abfahrt, bei der Ankunft, auf freier Strecke sowie während Sonderveranstaltungen wie dem Mai-Steam-Festival. Auch Detailaufnahmen von Triebwagen, Dampflokomotiven und historischen Tramwagen (Ce 2/3 28) sind enthalten. Die Aufnahmeorte umfassen Bahnhöfe, Streckenabschnitte und Haltepunkte wie Blonay, Chamby, Cornaux und Chaulin. Die Fotografien stammen aus verschiedenen Jahren und zeigen den musealen Betrieb sowie besondere Ereignisse auf der Blonay-Chamby-Bahn.

For the season finale of the Blonay Chamby Railway "La DER 2023," there was plenty of steam once again: the G 2/2 No. 4 "Rimini" arrived in Blonay with the beautifully restored A-L compartment coach with luggage compartment CF2 No. 21, built in 1900, and the HG 3/4 is waiting with its train for the imminent departure.

As part of the season finale "DER 2023," the Blonay Chamby Railway offered rides to the Baye de Clarens Viaduct to inspect the progress of the extensive renovation of the structure. Fortunately, I was allowed to leave the train under supervision and take a few photos.
In the picture, the G 2/2 No. 4 "Rimini" with the beautifully restored A-L compartment coach with luggage compartment CF2 No. 21, built in 1900, on the Baye de Clarens Viaduct.

The RhB Bernina Express RABe 4/4 I No. 35 is in Blonay with the Riviera Belle Epoque on the return journey to Chaulin. From Vevey to Blonay, the train can be used by passengers; from Blonay onwards, the train runs as empty stock to Chaulin, as the museum is closed at this time.

Swiss Steam Festival 2026 - Although I'm fortunate enough to attend the Swiss Steam Festival quite often, one might think that I'd eventually run out of things to photograph. But as this picture shows, that's not the case. This is thanks to the presence of the G 2/2 TICINO! While the A 3/5 may be one of the most beautiful steam locomotives in my opinion, the G 2/2 TICINO has truly captured my heart, especially since I had the opportunity (in 2018) to ride in its cab for the first time. I was therefore all the more delighted that the G 2/2 TICINO was enriching this year's steam festival.
The A 3/5 may be one of the most beautiful steam locomotives in my opinion, but the G 2/2 TICINO has truly captured my heart. After initially thinking I'd hardly be able to photograph the locomotive in the crowd, this opportunity presented itself: Coming from Blonay, the HG 3/4 No. 3 steamed towards Chamby with its train, while the small TICINO, supplied with coal/wood and water, waited for its shunting maneuver into the museum station.
