Since the last deployments of NS reizigers Class 1700 on passenger trains is due to slip in the past from 9 December 2023, NSR organised a farewell trip through the Netherlands, using NS 1761 with a rake of DBIC coaches, notmally deployed on the IC-Berlijn (Amsterdam to Bad bentheim); the last passenger services for this once ubiquitious class electrics. On 19 NOvember 2023 NS 1761 enters Nijmegen, where she will take a break of ten minutes before continuing to Tilburg and Rotterdam, places, the IC-Berlijn was never to be sen.
