The car tunnel trains on the AT1 route (and AT2 in high season) to Kandersteg (or Iselle) can be found photographically in a very awkward place in the Kandersteg train station and are therefore difficult to photograph. However, the route to the tunnel offers good opportunities to photograph the last BLS Re 4/4 in use. I still stayed at Kandersteg train station and was able to photograph the BLS Re 4/4 185 with its car tunnel train in the station. The train is waiting for the BLS RABe 521 to depart as R1 from Domodossola to Bern, in order to then travel as a service train towards Frutigen. Jan 3, 2024

Die Autoverladzüge auf der Strecke AT1 (und AT2 in der Hochsaison) nach Kandersteg (oder Iselle) befinden sich fotografisch an einem sehr ungünstigen Ort im Bahnhof Kandersteg und sind daher schwer zu fotografieren. Die Strecke zum Tunnel bietet jedoch gute Möglichkeiten, die letzten im Einsatz stehenden BLS Re 4/4 zu fotografieren. Ich blieb dennoch am Bahnhof Kandersteg und konnte die BLS Re 4/4 185 mit ihrem Autoverladzug im Bahnhof fotografieren. Der Zug wartet auf die Abfahrt des BLS RABe 521 als R1 von Domodossola nach Bern, um dann als Leerfahrt in Richtung Frutigen zu fahren. 3. Januar 2024 

The picture shows the BLS Re 4/4 185 waiting with its car tunnel train in the Kandersteg train station for the departure of the BLS RABe 521 as R1 from Domodossola to Bern (left in the picture) in order to then travel as a service train towards Frutigen.

SBB KISS in unfamiliar surroundings: the SBB RABe 511 110 will soon reach its destination Le Châble as IR 1745 Verbier Express . For winter sports traffic, the IR 1745 usually runs from Genève on Saturdays and Sundays with the IR 1711 and is winged in Martigny; On the return journey the train runs as RE 18496 (without stopping between Martigny and Vevey) and is merged with the RE 18460 in Vevey.

Für den Wintersportverkehr verkehrt der IR 1745 samstags und sonntags in der Regel ab Genève zusammen mit dem IR 1711 und wird in Martigny geflügelt; Auf der Rückfahrt verkehrt der Zug als RE 18496 (ohne Halt zwischen Martigny und Vevey) und wird in Vevey mit dem RE 18460 zusammengeführt. 9. An SBB Re 460 leaves Lausanne with its HVZ IR 90 towards Geneva. In the foreground you can still see a DKW that is no longer in use, but the actual motif is the Bpm in green/gray directly behind the locomotive. Bpm in and of itself are quite rare, and in green/gray they are almost rarely seen in planned use. The car has the UIC number B 50 85 21-73 518-5 CH-SBB. May 17, 2023

Eine SBB Re 460 verlässt Lausanne mit ihrem HVZ IR 90 in Richtung Genf. Im Vordergrund ist noch eine nicht mehr genutzte DKW zu sehen, aber das eigentliche Motiv ist der grün/graue Bpm direkt hinter der Lokomotive. Bpm sind an sich schon recht selten, und in grün/grau sind sie im geplanten Einsatz fast nie zu sehen. Der Wagen trägt die UIC-Nummer B 50 85 21-73 518-5 CH-SBB. 17. Mai 2023 

The Fildern region is still quite rural, as this picture near Echterdingen shows, even if the city already seems to be spilling out of the basin into the landscape. Probably also a reason why the SSB has extended its U5 line on the Filder to the airport.

Die Region Fildern ist noch recht ländlich, wie dieses Bild bei Echterdingen zeigt, auch wenn die Stadt bereits dabei ist, aus dem Becken in die Landschaft hinauszuwachsen. Wahrscheinlich auch ein Grund, warum die SSB ihre U5-Linie auf den Fildern bis zum Flughafen verlängert hat. Auf dem Bild sind zwei SSB-Züge zu sehen, die um den Flughafen fahren. 29.08.2022 
