With an Emmental Railway steam train traveling to Wasen i. E., the E 3/3 853 (UIC 90 85 0008 573-3) reaches the Oberei stop; a stop on request. Although the line is no longer served by scheduled passenger trains, the station building remains in operation, serving as a bus stop, and the waiting room serves as a farm shop. And once a month—according to the posted timetable—a museum train of the Emmental Railway runs from Wasen to Huttwil and back.
