NS(M) DE-20 stands at 's-Hertogenbosch during the -normally- annual arrival of Prince Carnival Amadiro XXIV. Carnival is a fervently held tradition in Roman-catholic areas around the world and 's-Hertogenbosch is no exception. Tradition has Prince Carnival (who is in 's-Hertogenbosch always an Amadiro) to arrive by a special train at the station and on 10 February 2018, DE-20 was chosen.

After fifteen years of standstill, NSM's Mat'24 Blokkendoos BD 9107 makes a succesful test run on 1 August 2026 from Utrecht Maliebaan to Apeldoorn and Amersfoort. The 100+ years old EMU is sen here at Apeldoorn on said 1 August 2026.
