Due to the partial closure of the Gotthard Base Tunnel (GBT), practically all passenger trains will run on the "Gotthard Panorama" route for a few weeks.

The SOB RABe 526 216 Traverso is on the way from Locarno to Basel as the Treno Gottardo and was photographed at the stop in Göschenen.

Due to the partial closure of the Gotthard Base Tunnel (GBT), practically all passenger trains will run on the "Gotthard Panorama" route for a few weeks. In the picture an SBB Re 460 with an IC heading towards Arth Goldau passing through Göschenen.

The SBB Re 460 028 (Re 460 91 85 4 460 028-4 CH-SBB) has been carrying the very attractive advertising decoration in all four national languages "Schweizer Wanderwege / Suisse Rando / Sentieri Svizzeri / Sendas Svizras" since May 2026. I was able to photograph the SBB Re 460 028 with the IR 90 in Vevey using my now twenty-year-old small digital camera, which, however, reached its limits under these lighting conditions.
