VSM's newby 41 241 receives attention at the VSM works in Beekbergen on 3 September 2023 during the Terug naar Toen steam train festival. THis engine was in the posession of Dampflok-Tradition Oberhausen. Due to lack of room, the Oberhauseners decided to store 41 241 at the SSN in Rotterdam Noord Goederen. The SSN however, has no line of her own and a constant feature of her history is the Sword of Damocles in the guise of expansion plans for domestic environments, forcing the SSN to relocate a few times lock, stock and barrel. In 2015 VSM bought 41 241 from the Germans and started to restore her directly in operational condition. With succes: shortly before the September festival Terug naar Toen the loco had concluded test rides.
