Craned Goat 242 stands at Haaksbergen with the MBS on 23 October 2016. During construction, some Siks (Goats) were given a small crane to help at construction sites or clearing the track of debris. 

On 14 May 2015 NS 361 stands a bit aside with the SGB at Goes. The crane on the loco was fitted to about thirty of the class and enabled the shunter with minor maintenance. 
