On 24 April 2026 RE10 to Kleve passes between Weeze and Goch, being hauled by 218 451. The deployment of this replacement train was due to end on May 1st, but has been pro0longed until 22 May 2026 (at least).

DB 218 397 has coupled herself to a Class 101 with her IC service to Hamburg from Stralsund via Lübeck and Rostock in Lübeck Hbf on 18 February 2026. Due to construction works between Hamburg and Rostock, a detour via Lübeck Hbf was on order -including a change of travel direction and traction, since Lübeck <=> Rostock is still not under the wires. To cut something of the delay, the electric loco stays on the train.
