A very unusual working on any car carrying train between Niebüll and Westerland (Sylt) happened at Niebüll on 16 February 2026: RDC DE 2700-07 (as strong as dirty) banks one of the car shuttles out of Niebüll on 16 February 2026 -banking these trains almost never happens and the loadings of the train were not exactly that heavy to require banking.

On 24 May 2013 NbE 203 160 in service with LOCON Benelux hauls a refuse train through 's-Hertogenbosch towards Utrecht, Zwolle and Wijster. LOCON Benelux and NbE both ahve gone since long.
