A very unusual working on any car carrying train between Niebüll and Westerland (Sylt) happened at Niebüll on 16 February 2026: RDC DE 2700-07 (as strong as dirty) banks one of the car
WFL 112 006 calls at Bremen with a replacement set for defective EMUs on 20 February 2026.



RDC 247 908 'DEBBIE' hauls a car carrying train out of Niebüll to Westerland (Sylt) on 16 February 2026. Nothing that special, apart from the fact that this train had a banking locomotive although the train loading were not exactly that heavy to require one!

On 24 May 2013 NbE 203 160 in service with LOCON Benelux hauls a refuse train through 's-Hertogenbosch towards Utrecht, Zwolle and Wijster. LOCON Benelux and NbE both ahve gone since long.

Tricky photographic conditions at Utrecht Centraal for NbE 203 163, then rented by LOCON Benelux on 11 November 2012. Oddly enough, a few years latyer both NbE and LOCON Benelux went into bankrupcy.
