At the end of the day, there was, in my opinion, the highlight of the end-of-season celebration: RhB Ge 4/4 No. 81 left Blonay in the last rays of daylight with its charming train to Chaulin. With one of the hourly shuttles to Mariembourg, 29.013 is seen leaving Treignes on a perfect 21 September 2019 attended by more than one photographer. The very last NMBS/SNCB steam loco in normal service was 29.013 in 1966, one of about 280 1D US engines. As the only one of this class in Belgium, she became instantly a designated museum loco even before the last official scheduled steam trip to Dendermonde. On 21 September 2019 she was guest with the CFV3V and receives attention at Mariembourg. Another member of this type rides in HUngary as 411.118 'Truman'.

The day before the annual train bonanza STEAM5x gets started, the participants arrive at Benesov and have to be squeezed in into the rather small CD works, giving the many train fans in the know many opportunities to view, film and photograph the arrivals and shunting operations into the works.
