On a very rainy 21 September 2017, MAV 480 003 stands at Budapest-Keleti. This loco carries here a commemmorative scheme for Szent Istvan Kiraly, King Istvan (Magyar for Stephen) I being the first Roman-Catholic King of Hungary and therefore sanctified (hence the Szent, meaning Saint).

Bagged up nevers feels fine and MAV 480 005, sen here at Kelenföld on 11 September 2018 has avoided this fate. My plastic bag didn't last that long, but 480 005 stil carries the commemmorative livery for King Mathhias Corvinus, whe became King of Hungary in 1458 (in 2013 this fact being 555 years ago).

T478-1002 was one of the prototypes of later class 751 and had somewhat more rounded cabs, earning her the nickname Bardotka (after the French actress Brigitte Bardot -who might have find reason for annoyment being compared to a Diesellocomotive) and has survived and resides now at the railway museum of Luzna u Rakovnika. There she stands on 13 May 2012.
