Parallel shot: NSM 273 quits Rotterdam Centraal on 26 March 2017 as part of the good-bye to the Hoekse Lijn (Hoek van Holland<=>Rotterdam), whilst Stichting Hondekop 766 takes on a new load of passengers on this special weekend, where three museum EMUs were deployed to bid a nice farewell to the Hoekse Lijn.

It is Saturday 5 September 2026 and the first saturday of September and that means the VSM train bonanza Terug naar Toen (Back to Yonder) that sees every hour a steam train between the VSM's head quartes Beekbergen and Apeldoorn (connecting to the national railways network); five steam trains to Dieren (connecting with the national railways network) and every 45 minutes a steam train to and from Loenen. SSN 23 023 hauls the fifth and last steam train of the day out of Dieren to Loenen and Beekbergen. Each year SSN locos are guests with the Terug naar Toen Weekend of the VSM -and when the SSN at Rotterdam have their steam weekend in October, VSM sends steamers of her own -in all respects, the relation between SSN and VSM is a warm one!

Nine Pacifics 2C1s took their turns on the weekend of 20/21 September 2014 during a massive Pacific fest in Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg to commemmorate the 90th anniversary of the commissioning of the Pacific Einheitslok back in 1924. The result was to be Baureihe 01. On 20 September 2014 the Bubikopf 64 491 seems dwarfed by the participating Pacifics from Germany, Austria (01 533), Switzerland (01 202) and the Netherlands (01 1075).
