At the end of the day there was, for my taste, the highlight of the end of the season celebration: The RhB Ge 4/4 N° 81; the magnificent locomotive is shunted in Blonay.

Autour de la voie ferrée / Around the iron railway (autumn event 2024) - For gravel transport, GFM acquired two railcars, designated BDe 4/4 141 and 142, in 1972. These railcars were initially used with gravel trains and a control car. Later, they operated as shuttle trains in regional services for GFM and TPF, each time sporting the then-current livery. "GFM Histoique" restored its BDe 4/4 141 and displays it in its original colors. The relatively modern design, combined with the already somewhat dated 1972 livery, gives the BDe 4/4 141 a particularly striking and visually appealing contrast. Sept. 7, 2024 
