Side view on advertiser GySEV 470 504 at Budapest-Keleti on 10 September 2018. The Hungarian Taurus-engines used to be classified as 1047. Within a few years, MAV (and GySEV) changed their numbering systems twice. After decades of leters and numbers (e.g. V43 or, if the Tauri had come earlier, V47), a few years locos had four class numbers (e.g. 1047) before complying within a more standardised numbering system (e.g. 470).
