On 26 May 2004 DB 110 162 calls at Köln-Deutz.

Scanned photo of 143 635 in S-Bahn livery at Essen Hbf on 23 July 1998. As soon DR Class 243/DBAG 143 became available on the West-German railways, many a 143 found her way into the west. S-Bahn Rhein-Rühr delpoyed a batch of these ex-DR locos where they released the 111s hitherto in S-Bahn service (111 111-188 with special S-Bahn livery).

On 13 April 1999 DB Regio 110 300 -hauling an RB out of Köln-Deutz- has no clue whatever that shje will be rescues to become a museum loco 20+ years later.

On 12 April 2014 DB Regio 143 335 could be photographed at Dresden-Altstadt during the Dresdner Dampfloktreffen spectacle at the museum depot at Altstadt.
