RRF 4401 runs light through Lage Zwaluwe on 20 July 2016 to pick up an automotives train at Roosendaal. RRF Class 4400 were former NS, later HUSA Class 1600 locomotives that became an own numbering class, but are identical to their sisters of Classes 1600 and 1800.

RFO 1831 stands in Oss on 11 February 2026 with a celebration livery for the 75th anniversary of the Dutch railway fan club NVBS (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Belangstellenden in Spor- en tramwezen). This loco will hold this livery for at least one year, entered service with NS in 1984 as 1631, became 1831 upon the loco fleet sectorisation in 2000 (1600 remaining the NS Passenger division's locos with those going to NS Cargo/Railion became Class 1826-1858) and remained 1831 upon transfer to RFO, after a breif spell as 9904 with LOCON Benelux. On 15 December 2025 this livery was revealed by the NVBS and RFO and the loco was renumbered 1931 (the year when the NVBS was founded) for one day on 3 January 2026 on an extra trip to kick off the 75th anniversary of the NVBS, before reverting to number 1831.

RFO 1831 stoi w Oss 11 lutego 2026 roku z okleiną okolicznościową z okazji 75-lecia holenderskiego klubu miłośników kolei NVBS (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Belangstellenden in Spoor- en tramwezen). Ta lokomotywa będzie nosić tę okleinę przez co najmniej rok, weszła do służby w NS w 1984 roku jako 1631, stała się 1831 po sektorowaniu floty lokomotyw w 2000 roku (1600 pozostały lokomotywami działu pasażerskiego NS, a te przeznaczone dla NS Cargo/Railion stały się klasą 1826-1858) i pozostała 1831 po przekazaniu do RFO, po krótkim okresie jako 9904 w LOCON Benelux. 15 grudnia 2025 roku tę okleinę zaprezentowały NVBS i RFO, a lokomotywa została jednorazowo przemalowana na numer 1931 (rok założenia NVBS) na jeden dzień, 3 stycznia 2026 roku, podczas dodatkowego kursu inaugurującego 75-lecie NVBS, po czym powróciła do numeru 1831. 

On 15 May 2017 RRF 4402 quits Nijmegen with a tank train bound for Bad Bentheim. After the demise of Class 1600/1800 with the Netherlands State railways, private operators were quick to buy some examples, like RRF, who still operate two engines (4401 and 4402, formerly from HUSA).

Second of five: NS 1732 quits 's-Hertogenbosch with the 2nd of five overnight trains from Tyrol on 4 March 2012. In order to replace Classes 1100, 1200 and 1300 in one blow/ fell swoop (thanks to Shakespeare's MacBeth) NS ordered French again with a slightly modernised and somewhat lighter nez-cassé like Class 1600. The 81 locos ordered became Class 1700 and from 1994 were almost exclusively deployed om passenger services, from the humble urban trains to international crack passenger trains.

Drugi z pięciu: NS 1732 opuszcza 's-Hertogenbosch z drugim z pięciu nocnych pociągów z Tyrolu 4 marca 2012 roku. Aby jednocześnie zastąpić serie 1100, 1200 i 1300 (dzięki Szekspirowi i MacBethowi), NS ponownie zamówiło francuskie lokomotywy z lekko zmodernizowanym i nieco lżejszym przodem typu nez-cassé, podobnym do serii 1600. Zamówione 81 lokomotyw stało się serią 1700 i od 1994 roku były prawie wyłącznie wykorzystywane w ruchu pasażerskim, od skromnych pociągów miejskich po międzynarodowe szybkie pociągi pasażerskie. 
