How times change: a few years ago I would have turned up my nose and not photographed the ICN passing through Airolo, today I am happy that I can photograph an ICN between all the Giruno trains: The SBB RABe 500 006 Johanna Spyri as IC 2 10865 on the way from Zurich HB to Lugano passes the highlight of its journey in Airolo and is now heading through the Leventina towards its destination drive. January 21, 2025
