In Lausanne, the S 40 24633, consisting of two SBB Domino trains, waits for departure to Palézieux. It's easy to see that the leading Domino consists of the former Travys ABt NPZ DO 50 85 39-43 984-6 CH-SBB, B NPZ DO 50 85 29-43 384-1 CH-SBB, and RBDe 560 DO 94 85 7 384-0 SBB-CH. Due to construction work, the train shuttled back and forth between Palézieux and Lausanne, turning around on track 3 each time. This gave me the opportunity to photograph the train in the "right" light during the coffee break this morning.

A sweet surprise at the end of the day: In Lausanne on platform 2 is the TPF RBDe 560 245 "CHOCOLAT EXPRESS" as an empty material train. Since my little photographer would have been overwhelmed by the lighting conditions, I grabbed my cell phone so that although I didn't get a top-quality picture, I was still able to immortalize the special scene. There wasn't much time to devour the sweet TPF RBDe 560 245 Domino "Chocolat Express" in Lausanne, in the background you can already see the arriving RE to St-Maurice, which "closes" the TPF train and is also my train to Vevey.

An SBB Domino leaves the Gänsbrunnen station and continues towards Moutier. Gänsbrunnen is located in the "Tahl" and can only be reached by train from the Mittelland in a very short time as the road connection requires a fairly large detour. For this reason, the Weissenstein Tunnel is now also being renovated. so that rail operations can continue to be offered on these routes in the future.
The Solothurn - Moutier route belonged to the SMB, which in turn formed a joint venture with EBT and VHB and later the RM
and was subsequently taken over by the BLS.
