The SEG G 2x 2/2 105 of the Blonay Chamby Railway is en route with its steam train from Blonay to Chamby, crossing the newly renovated Baye de Clarens viaduct.

A SBB RABe 502 Twindexx is waiting his departur to Geneva Airport in the Lausanne Station.

In Lausanne, the S 40 24633, consisting of two SBB Domino trains, waits for departure to Palézieux. It's easy to see that the leading Domino consists of the former Travys ABt NPZ DO 50 85 39-43 984-6 CH-SBB, B NPZ DO 50 85 29-43 384-1 CH-SBB, and RBDe 560 DO 94 85 7 384-0 SBB-CH. Due to construction work, the train shuttled back and forth between Palézieux and Lausanne, turning around on track 3 each time. This gave me the opportunity to photograph the train in the "right" light during the coffee break this morning.

In service for this route is an SBB Domino with the ABt NPZ Do 50 85 39-43 814-5 CH-SBB at the front, the B NPZ Do 50 85 29-43 150-6 CH-SBB as an intermediate car, and the pushing RABe 560 217 (UIC RABe 560 DO 94 85 7 560 217-2 CH-SBB) at the rear of the train. Of the two (ex Travys) Domino trains, at least one is still operating in its original composition with ABt NPZ DO 50 85 39-43 985-5, B NPZ DO 50 85 29-43 385-8, and RBDe 560 DO 94 85 7 560 385-7. The mentioned Domino is waiting with another Domino in Lausanne as S41 for departure to Fribourg. Either the ex Travys Domino is very well cleaned or newly painted; in any case, it makes an extremely well-maintained impression. June 26, 2026 
