Die Galerie zeigt eine umfangreiche Sammlung von Fotografien der Diesellokomotiven der Baureihe 218 in Deutschland. Die Motive umfassen verschiedene Einsätze dieser Lokomotiven im Personen- und Güterverkehr, darunter Regionalbahnen, Intercity- und Eurocity-Züge sowie Bau- und Sonderzüge. The days of manually operated signaling are numbered in Niebüll and the era of Class 218 also draws to a close. From Summer 2026 almost all CLass 218 will have been replaced and the old signalling given way to more modern signalling. On 16 February 2026 DB 218 470 hauls an RE to Westerland (Sylt) out of Niebüll and passes the old signal mast.
