Maggio 2026 è stato caratterizzato da un forte focus sulle locomotive a vapore e sulle operazioni di patrimonio storico, evidenziato in particolare dal Swiss Steam Festival a Blonay-Chamby, con locomotive storiche come la RhB Ge 4/4 81 e la locomotiva ospite G 2/2 TICINO. Diverse immagini hanno immortalato motrici a vapore classiche come la SBB 1367 a Brugg AG, la 241A65 a Lucerna e la UEF 58 311 a Titisee, oltre a presenze internazionali tra cui la BEM 3673 a Nördlingen e la ReKo Ochsenlok 41 1144 a Wolsztyn. Il traffico moderno si è concentrato sui servizi regionali e intercity svizzeri, con molte unità SBB RABe 511, 522 e 523 in servizio a Ginevra, Delle, Pratteln e Sciaffusa, spesso in contesti transfrontalieri. Il TGV Lyria e la SNCF BB 22360 sono stati documentati ripetutamente a Ginevra a causa di interruzioni legate a lavori di costruzione. Vernier e Basilea hanno visto attività sia passeggeri che merci, inclusi la SBB Am 843 084 e la Akiem 37526, quest'ultima nota per operare in una mattina piovosa. Le unità TPC ASD ABe 4/8 con livrea Glacier 3000 sono state fotografate vicino a Vers-l'Eglise, sottolineando le operazioni regionali panoramiche. Altri temi ricorrenti includevano ricostruzioni di stazioni (ad esempio Nijmegen), livree rare (DB 294 710 nei colori RaiLioN) e cambi di orario nella regione del Giura che hanno interessato i servizi transfrontalieri. With the 2024/25 timetable change, a new concept was introduced in the Jura region. Among other changes, the RER Jura trains now run every half hour to Delle, but the direct connections to Meroux have been discontinued. In return, SNCF TER trains now run hourly (on weekdays) from Delle to Belfort. The photo from Delle shows the arriving SBB RABe 522 210, which is turning around here for its return journey to Porrentruy, and the SNCF X 73755, operating as a TER to Belfort. May 20, 2026
