Just a short while, the BLS SamSkip intermodal service went from Köln via Venlo and 's-Hertogenbosch to Amsterdam. BLS 475 414 hauls one of the last SamSkips for Amsterdam through 's-Hertogenbosch on 13 April 2019. A few days later, the destination was shifted to Rotterdam Kijfhoek, which ment, that 's-Hertogenbosch no longer is on this train's route.

The 399-meter-long Saane Viaduct near Gümmenen on the Bern - Neuchâtel line, located in a slightly hilly landscape just north of Laupen, is hardly to be overlooked due to its size, in stark contrast to the two BLS NINA RABe 525 trains that are currently crossing the now double-tracked viaduct.

In its full grandeur with the 27 stone piers and the truss bridge section, the 399-meter-long Saane Viaduct of the BLS near Gümmenen is shown, which is currently being crossed by a BLS RABe 528.
