Freights to/from Poland via the Czech republic are almost always hauled by Akiem-186s, but some trains, originating/ending in Czechia see much more interesting traction in the guise of CDC Vectrons Class 383.

Completely gone from Dutch tracks are the once ubiquitious TRAXX Class 186.0 and the ICR coaches. On 26 May 2017 NS 186 018 hauls such a rake through Tilburg Oude Warande. In 2018 NS used a sale-and-lease-back construction with Akiem to cut costs on the locos and from December 2025 all NS Class 186 were returned to Akiem, who lost no time in removing the yellow and blue. 
