NIAG 186 142 gets coupled to the SSN Kerst-express with 01 1075 now steaming, but not hauling the train due to the lack of ECTS on the steamer (needed for Zevenaar Oost-Elten, which is part of the track Arnhem<=>Emmerich) on 17 December 2022 at Arnhem. NIAG 186 142 has deputised ofter in such cases, where a steam train is planned to cross the Dutch-German border at Emmerich.

LPG tank train with CT 186 152 leaves Nijmegen on 14 April 2020. Due to works on the direct track Eindhoven--Tilburg, this train had to accept a serieus detour via Nijmegen, where locos were swapped with a change of direction. The detour went via Venlo to Nijmegen (a Diesel traject) and Nijmegen Tilburg (electric track) 
