SBBCI 193 107 and sister loco haul a coal train through Valburg on 26 May 2026 as mercenaries for ÖBB/RCC. Because the new SBBCI Vectron X-LOads 193 451-460 and 541-549 were not yet allowed to run into Italy, SBBCI temporarily had a surplus of traction for the Dutch-German traffic, where ÖBB/RCC -who had taken over CapTrain Benelux- was a bit short of traction. SBBCI rented theoir 193 107-111 to RCC until the acceptance procedures for Italy were completed.

Test ride for 193 348 at Valburg on 8 October 2026. In 2025 two DB Cargo Vectrons, 193 347 and 348 were deployed om automatic train operation (ATO) between Valburg CUP and Meteren. The driver was present, but did not drive the locos. In 2026, this programme was upped to test complete freight trains and their weight is being increased gradually.
