On 19 September 2026 the Görlitzer Fast Train SVT VT.18.16.07/10 stands proudly at benesov u Prahy and gets prepared for a re-enactment of part of the VINDOBONA train thatran in the 1980s from GDR

On 19 September 2026 the Görlitzer Fast Train SVT VT.18.16.07/10 stands proudly at benesov u Prahy and gets prepared for a re-enactment of part of the VINDOBONA train thatran in the 1980s from GDR East-Berlin via Dresden, Prague and Ceske Budejovice to Wien Franz-Josefsbahnhof. Sadly, several technical issues less than two hours before the scheduled departure destroyed any hopes of the re-enactment, much to the chagrin of the would-be passengers, the operators of the DMU and the organisers of the train spectacle around Benesov.
