On 24 March 2025 Smart Rail 111 213 looks meazled when calling at Rheinhausen with another replacement train deputising for a defective ultramodern high-tech multiple unit.
TRI's 145 040 pushes a replacement service to Hannever Airport in S-7 service out of Hannover Hbf on 26 August 2026.



On 22 January 2025 TRI 111 054 hauls the famous RB37 towards Neu8ss Hbf through a well-known photo spot at Kaarst-Broicherseite. In 2025 TRI nevber were shy of some practical jokes, like this one. When DB ordered their 227 electrics CLass 111 from 1974, most were delivered wqith turqouis-blue and ivory colours -apart from 111 111-188 that got grey with an orange waist band for the S-Bahn in the Ruhr Area. But they never wore the 1950s and 1960s blue of the fast train locos of DB. That didn't deterr TRI a slight bit when repainting their 111 0564 in this quasi-retro colour scheme. On 145 041 they did the same kind of joke, giving these locos the 1950s look of freight engines.

As is the case in more German Länder, Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen) sees her partof failing modern MUs, necessitating the deployment of older stock with lco haulage by TRI and WFL -much to the joy of German and foreign railway fans.

RB37 Krefeld<=>Neuss almost always sees some surprising loco haulage and on 24 Septemberb 2026 former DB Touristik loco 111 074 was on the roll call, seen here pushing the RB37 to Krefeld Hbf through Kaarst-broicherseite. This famous photo spot can be reached on legal pathing but car drivers should take care not to park their vehicle on places where that is forbidden. Having learned the hard way by some less-than-intelligent train spotters from the past, the localos are now quick to call the police when you park your car in the wrong place, resulting in a hefty fine.
