On 22 May 2022 DB 111 074 stands at Köln Hbf with the Herzerather extra train. Travellers on board this train (also known as 'Sauferzug'; that is Drunkards' Express in Germany) made no attempt to hide audible their enthusiasm for a weekend of wine drinking. 

Time warp? On 6 December 2025 DB 111 158 stands at Venlo with an extra train to Bonn that constists of some DB coahces from the 1960s and 1970s, but also one or two coaches from the 1930s. The much more modern ICE Class 407 awaits departure on track 3 in the back ground. 
