Out in the fields between Eubigheim and Hrischlanden this later morning the GfF class 111 200-2 is on it's way from Würzburg to Stuttgart with the RE8 line replacementtrain from TRI and Go Ahrad

But for the new number system and colours from 1968, 111 112 might have looked like this upon introduction: Train Rental has a nice fleet of ex-DB electrics Class 111 and gave them a variety of colours. Like this quasi retro E11 112/111 112 with the RB 37 at Kaarst-Broicherheide on 23 July 2025. THe 111 112 wore neither the old E11 numbers nor the old blue. 
