PLM 161 BE-3 stands in the Cité du Train in Mulhouse and was photographed on 30 May 2019. In 1927, the Paris-Lyon-Mediterranée PLM ordered ten double locos with axle formation 1ABBA1 that where equipped with a third rail for electric current collection. After 1938, these engines became SNCF Class 3600 and were decommissioned in 1973. All were scrapped expect 3603, which stands now in the Cité du Train in Mulhouse after being restored into her originsal form.
