After two days of retro train haulage during the train fest in and around Benesov u Prahy, IGE Werrabnahn 41 1144 awaits her turn to be hauled out o the Ceske Drahy depot at benesov u Prahy on Monday

On Monday 21 September 20267 the big (and possibly last) retro train bonanza in and around Benesov u Prahy is over. Most specials have returned home the Sunday evening before, but one massive haul is still to be done: EBS 142 001 (the strongers of all Ludmillas) and slightly weaker juniory sister 132 334 will haul Swiss/Franch steamer 241A65, some Swioss and German coaches and steamer 41 1144 from Benesov u Prahy, where this picture is taken, to Weimar. The Sun has got up ans shines on local hero T478-2006 that will haul out the EBS six-axle Ludmilla Diesel locomotives out of the depot kicking off a delightful hour of shunting operations.

Another big train bonanza, organised by Steam Story Agence, has come to an end. perhaps a rather definitive end sice from 1 January 2027 the Czech railways have upped their game with the installation of ECTS on their main lines.
