The 26th of September 2026 Antwerp said farewell to the PCC trams. 66 years they were in service, from the 18th of October 1960 to the 30th of April 2026. In total 166 were build between 1960 and 1975 by BN Brugge. The 7001 was the second PCC tram for Antwerp delivered in October 1960. He was in regular service till 2023. Now a museum tram operated by the Flemish Tram and Bus Museum at Antwerp. At the Leopoldplaats Antwerpen on route of tram lines 4 and 7. 26-09-2026

At the 9th of October 1960 he did his first test drive on line 2 from Hoboken to Suikerrui. At Borsbeeksebrug district Berchem Antwerpen on route of tram lines 4 - 9 and 11. In the back ground the 7274 a Siemens MGT6-1 build in 2012 on tram line 11: Berchem Station to Melkmarkt. 26-09-2026
