The 26th of September 2026 Antwerp said farewell to the PCC trams. 66 years they were in service, from the 18th of October 1960 to the 30th of April 2026. In total 166 were build between 1960 and 1975 by BN Brugge. The 2000 was the first, delivered on the 3th of October 1960 at the tram depot Zurenborg. At the 9th of October 1960 he did his first test drive on line 2 from Hoboken to Suikerrui. At Borsbeeksebrug district Berchem Antwerpen on route of tram lines 4 - 9 and 11. In the back ground the 7274 a Siemens MGT6-1 build in 2012 on tram line 11: Berchem Station to Melkmarkt. 26-09-2026
