NS(M) DE-20 stands at 's-Hertogenbosch during the -normally- annual arrival of Prince Carnival Amadiro XXIV. Carnival is a fervently held tradition in Roman-catholic areas around the world and 's-Hertogenbosch is no exception. Tradition has Prince Carnival (who is in 's-Hertogenbosch always an Amadiro) to arrive by a special train at the station and on 10 February 2018, DE-20 was chosen. 

The Saga ends. Decommissioned NS DM'90s BUFFEL DMUs stood from 2016 at Nijmegen for a possible sale to a Romanian operator. Unclearities in -amongst others- obligatory documentations however ended the sale in 2019. Since Prorail and Nijmegen wanted the area, where 48 BUFFELs were stored, to be cleared up for building an extra platform at Nijmegen, the sale fell through and NS bought the BUFFELs back to get them to the scrapyard. On 13 November 2019 Volker Rail 203-5 hauls the first batch of DM'90 out of Nijmegen. 
