Die Dampflokomotive 23 042 des Eisenbahnmuseums Darmstadt-Kranichstein. Am 05.06.2012 Tender voraus im Bahnhof Herdorf. Diese Neubaulokomotive wurde 1954 von Henschel & Sohn, Kassel unter der Fabriknummer 28542 gebaut. Von der Baureihe 23 wurden insgesamt 105 Lokomotiven gebaut. Die letzte wurde 1959 bei Jung in Kirchen/Sieg gefertigt, dies war auch die letzte Neubaulokomotive der DB.

After that, it changes direction of ride. Why this presidur? The right rhineline was closed the weekend from 4th of mai 2012 to tuesday 8th mai 2012, for the change from the manuel switchboxes to an centeralswitchbox.....so every train that went to the netherlands, it must take the line over Viersen and Venlo......5th mai 2012
