Rail Pictures, Railway Photos, Trains from Februar 2025

February 2025 features a strong focus on Swiss regional and mountain railways, with multiple images of BLM Be 4/6 units "Jungfrau" and "Mönch" operating on the Mürren-Grütschalp route, as well as several BLS services including RABe 535 "Lötschberger" and Re 465 011 on the GoldenPass Express. Lausanne emerges as a key location, appearing in several photos with both SBB Cargo and passenger trains. Dutch and Belgian rail operations are well-represented, notably with Certus and Strukton locomotives handling overnight and block trains at Roosendaal and Oss, and NS TRAXX 186 043 marking the gradual phase-out of blue-yellow livery in Tilburg. Historic and special event trains, such as SBB Historic 10217 in Olten for the 175th Swiss railway anniversary and SCM's steam shuttles in Eeklo and Maldegem, are another recurring theme. Several images highlight changing infrastructure and photography conditions, for example in Oisterwijk and Oberhausen, where new fencing and sound barriers are altering traditional photo spots. The Czech Republic features with various CD class 380 and 193 locomotives in international EuroCity and Metropolitan service, often connected to Budapest. Weather conditions vary, with some trains photographed in rain or on grey days, adding a seasonal atmosphere to the collection.
