Die Galerie zeigt Fotografien von Elektrolokomotiven der Baureihe 189, aufgenommen an verschiedenen Standorten in Deutschland und benachbarten Ländern. Abgebildet sind einzelne Lokomotiven und Doppeltraktionen im Einsatz vor Güterzügen, Intercitys, Nachtzügen und Sonderzügen. Zu den Aufnahmeorten zählen Bahnhöfe wie Essen, Koblenz Hbf, Regensburg, Kaub, Berlin Ostbahnhof, Emmerich, Trier, Betzdorf/Sieg, Hochneukirch, Dillingen/Saar sowie Streckenabschnitte bei Bad Bellingen, Toisdorf, Gubberath, Hatzenport, Gondorf und auf der Moselviadukt zwischen dem Kaiser-Wilhelm-Tunnel und dem Petersberg-Tunnel. Weitere Aufnahmen entstanden in den Niederlanden (Zevenbergen, Amsterdam Centraal, Bosschenhoofd) und der Schweiz (Arth-Goldau, Vevey), sowie in Modena, Italien. Zu sehen sind Lokomotiven verschiedener Betreiber, darunter DB, MRCE, FM Cargo, TX Logistik und ERS Railways, teils mit sichtbaren Betriebsnummern wie 189 090, 189 038-3, 189 992-1, 189 935, 189 040-9 und weiteren. Die Fotos dokumentieren den Einsatz der Baureihe 189 im Güter- und Personenverkehr im Zeitraum von 2006 bis 2015.

Freight rollercoaster at Neuwied: on 30 April 2026 DB Cargo 189 084 hauls a southbound ironore train in Innofreight containers through Neuwied. Tu-Sa Neuwied sees massive flows of freights since it is sited between Köln and Koblenz on the right Rhine bank (Rechtsrheinisch in German) where most freights between the two cities are directed -the left Rhine bank tracks (Linksrheinisch in good German) sees the long distance passenger trains that do not use the Köln-Frankfurt HSL.

Side view on Lokomotion 189 901 in second place in her train at Kufstein on the evening of 3 June 2015. Double heading for freights to Italy via the Brenner line from Kufstein is rather commonplace. The times of banking locos however are even in Kufstein (thatused to be famous for that) are almost completely gone due to much stronger modern electrics, but also because legislature in Italy cuts short almost all banking operations.

On the morning of 27 May 2012 Lokomotion 189 917 has arrived at Kufstein. Lokomotion from Germany and Rail Traction Com[pany (who's abbreviation is seen above the '917' on the loco's cab) cooperate very closely on the German-Italian traffic flows via Austria and the Brenner line.
