CFB 1605 -in quasi CFL painting- is about to haul the first shuttle from Mariembourg on 21 September 2019. This engine is owned by CFB but based at the CFV3V, who have scored an extra exhibition piece when the loco is not needed. The loco is a member of the Nohab CLass 52 even though she carries a CFL number.

The very last NMBS/SNCB steam  loco in normal service was 29.013 in 1966, one of about 280 1D US engines. As the only one of this class in Belgium, she became instantly a designated museum loco even before the last official scheduled steam trip to Dendermonde. On 21 September 2019 she was guest with the CFV3V and receives attention at Mariembourg. Another member of this type rides in HUngary as 411.118 'Truman'.

On 27 July 1989 Atlanmtic 12.004 heads the extra train 'Sinjoren Expres' at Roosendaal. Just six engines strong, this class Atlantics (2B1, a.k.a. 442) was specially build for fast trains between Bruxelles-Midi and Oostende on the fast track via Gent Sint-Pieters and Brugge and entered service in 1939. Sadly, WW-2 ended all plans for further expansions of this superb class.

SA01 prepares herself witha sister engine for the return lap at Treignes during the CFV3V Weekend a Vapeur. SA stands for SAFEA, one of the erstwhile many coal mines in Belgium. Each coal mine of real importance had at least one of these tank engines for lokal operations, fout of which reveived an asylum at the CFV3V.
