OOC, ex-Strukton 2284 304 (303004) stands at Oss on 10 August 2026 to pick up a cereals train. Strukton used to have four KHD-1200 Diesels for shunting operations and engineering trains. After the influx of nez-cassé electrics and the loss of some shunting francises Strukton discarded their KHD-1200s (that were second-hand bought from HGK); two of which are now in service with OOC for shunting trains in Oss. The 2284 304 still wears the Strukton colours, albeit with the stickers replaced by the blue OOC markings.

TRI operates many replacement trains in Germany with loco hauled stock when the newly ordered EMUs/BEMUs/DEMUs are -again- malfunctioning. On 20 August 2026 ex-DB 111 130 pushes an RB to Bottrop Hbf out of Oberhausen Hbf. Class 111 entered service with DB in 1974 and are now being disposed of -and speedily bought and reliveried by private operators like TRI and Smart rail.

The 1960s seem to have returned at Krefeld-Oppum on 20 August 2026 with TRI 110 448 calling there with the famous RB37 to Krefeld Hbf. Mo-Fr this service always exists of N-Wagen (dating from the 1960s), but traction is mostly ex-DB Classes 145 or 111 so to find 110 448 on this service is a rare joy indeed.
