DB 218 397 has coupled herself to a Class 101 with her IC service to Hamburg from Stralsund via Lübeck and Rostock in Lübeck Hbf on 18 February 2026. Due to construction works between Hamburg and Rostock, a detour via Lübeck Hbf was on order -including a change of travel direction and traction, since Lübeck <=> Rostock is still not under the wires. To cut something of the delay, the electric loco stays on the train. 

DB 218 321は、2026年2月16日の曇りの日に、ニーブルで停車します。これは、ニーブルとヴェスターラント（ジルト）間の非常に最後のIC列車の一つで、クラス218の牽引によるものです。3月からはDBクラス245がこのサービスを引き継ぎ、5月1日からはICE-Lと呼ばれる全く新しい編成が両地点間の長距離列車を担当する予定です。 
