During the renovation work on the Bay de Clarens Viaduct, the museum's railway service was maintained, and this photo was taken.
The SEG G 2x 2/2 105 by the Blonay Chamby Railway is now supplied with water and coal and returns to the museum station to take the next train to Blonay.



The complex renovation work on the Baye de Clarens Viaduct has been completed. To withstand the constant pressure of the mountain, a pier on the Blonay side was designed so that the viaduct slides flexibly and only needs to be readjusted in 20 to 25 years. 125 years of the MOB—and the fulfillment of a long-held dream: a direct connection between Montreux and Interlaken! On the right in the image is the FZe 6/6 2002; ordered in 1931 and arriving in 1932—right in the midst of the Great Depression—it may have technically arrived too late, yet it perfectly embodies the MOB’s philosophy: to be different from the rest! 125 years of the MOB: I wish the MOB all the best, and may it once again demonstrate that seasoned, reliable service—a quality that has been sorely missed in recent years.
