Water Sweeper XE 2/2 N° 1 for the former Biel/Bienne tramway (closed 1948), however the car was owned by the city of Biel (Ville de Bienne). This water sweeper was built in 1915 by SWS and MFO and is now owned by the heritage railway Blonay-Chamby. Chaulin, May 27th, 2012.

On the right in the image is the FZe 6/6 2002; ordered in 1931 and arriving in 1932—right in the midst of the Great Depression—it may have technically arrived too late, yet it perfectly embodies the MOB’s philosophy: to be different from the rest! 125 years of the MOB: I wish the MOB all the best, and may it once again demonstrate that seasoned, reliable service—a quality that has been sorely missed in recent years.
