On 21 May 2022 Red Arrow 1001 quits Olten during a local station's festivity.
SBB 11411 stands at Erstfeld on a soaking wet 19 September 2019 during the only held edition of 'Bahnen in Gotthard' that saw each hour an extra train between Erstfeld and Göschenen.

After the travel group had certainly enjoyed a good meal at a winery in Schafis, the OeBB RCe 2/4 607 (built in 1938/manufacturer SLM, MFO, BBC, and SAAS) returned to Balsthal. I was able to photograph the elegantly designed lightweight fast railcar passing through Ligerz, where only part of the former freight shed is visible. The RCe 2/4 607 was the last of seven delivered Red Arrows. The great success of these elegant trains quickly made the limited seating capacity a problem, and the railcars were subsequently used mainly for charter services. In 1974, the OeBB purchased the RCe 2/4 607 and operated the now blue-painted railcar between Oensingen and Balsthal. After an overhaul in 1988/89, it ran again as the Red Arrow for the OeBB. In 2022/23, the OeBB restored the railcar to its original form, as it can now be seen and experienced. June 19, 2025
