I'm not a cow to want to lug around my 1.356 kg heavy camera all day like a bell; so the idea arose to at least look for a compact but still good camera for day trips without a focus on photography. For a few test shots, I chose the Roche VD station, which was recently renovated but still shows itself quite photogenic with shelters and a renovated chalet-style station building. This test image shows the R2 train 24226 from Bex to Grandson arriving from Aigle in backlight. September 2, 2026
