With the timetable change, SBB RABe 512 trains replaced (most of) the SBB RABe 511 trains on the RE 33 line between Annemasse and Martigny.

With the timetable change, SBB RABe 512 trains replaced (most of) the SBB RABe 511 trains on the RE 33 line between Annemasse and Martigny. These are themselves scheduled to be replaced by the new Siemens double-decker trains in 2031. The picture shows RE 33 18418 traveling from St-Maurice to Annemasse, shortly after Villeneuve, with the Château de Chillon in the background.
